Seats Incorporated is a Wisconsin corporation that designs, manufactures and markets seating and accessories for operators of vehicles with wheels or tracks. W. R. Sauey founded the Company in 1952 as a manufacturer of seats for lift trucks. Seats Incorporated is now one of the most diverse seating manufacturers in the nation with products that are used in a wide variety of applications including industrial trucks, over-the-highway semi-tractors, off-highway equipment, earth moving equipment, military vehicles, and emergency vehicles. Seats Incorporated is headquartered in Reedsburg, WI in a facility containing approximately 311,000 square feet of manufacturing and tooling space and 19,000 square feet of office space situated on 16 ½ acres of land. Seats Incorporated also has 74,000 square feet of manufacturing space located in Richland Center, WI along with a manufacturing location in Saltillo, Mexico. In 2018, warehouse space was added in Laredo, TX to support the sewing operations in both Wisconsin and Mexico. The Spring Hill, KS facility purchased in 2018 adds approximately 97,750 square feet of manufacturing space and 14,000 square feet of office space. An additional 40,000 square foot facility was purchased in Spring Hill to support foam operations. The latest addition to Seats Incorporated is the newest operations in Chariton, IA. This 57,200 square foot facility will support metals manufacturing and expand production capabilities.
