We are a small, locally owned, family business. 
Shawn Byrd has been providing professional service to home owners in the Kansas City area since 1995. He apprenticed under the leadership of his father who has been painting since the early 1970's. 
Shawn and his wife, Amanda, founded Penguin Painting in 2012 after Shawn gained nearly two decades of experience working for his father's business.
 Not simply owners, they are completely involved in every job- start to finish- to ensure the highest quality.
Our two older sons have both apprenticed and are learning the value of hard work, honesty and integrity.
