Member Engagement Representative (Welcome Desk)
Olathe Family YMCA
Part-Time (Up to 30 weekly hours)
Under the direction of the Member Engagement Director or Coordinator, and in the accordance with the policies of the YMCA of Greater Kansas City, the Member Engagement Representative will be responsible for engaging in activities to increase membership in our centers. Responsibilities, in addition to tasks as-assigned, include:
- Conduct prospective member tours as per training; demonstrate consistent excellence in sales and closing techniques, telephone and in-person service, and prospective member engagement; follow up for prospective members on a daily basis.
- Assist in meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual membership sales goals.Achieve daily and weekly prospecting goals.
- Handle all member and non-member telephone calls per YMCA policies.
- Perform responsibilities such as: cashing out, balancing daily transactions and dropping envelopes in safe.
- Maintain an orderly and neat workspace during your shift and clean up when leaving.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Must have a high school degree or equivalent.
- One year experience in customer service, sales and marketing preferred.
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service.
